Reprographic Services

Under Section 52 of the Copyright Act of India (1957), a photocopy or reproduction of a work protected by copyright may be made under specific conditions. Archives are authorized to supply photocopies or digital copies for personal study, academic research, or scholarly purposes. To request photocopies of archival materials, users must submit an access request form. Details of the materials are available in the archival description.Please be aware that IIA reserves the right to decline copying orders for photographs or documents if fulfilling the request would violate copyright laws. If you intend to use images or scans from our collections in a publication, exhibition, or any other project, you must obtain permission from the copyright owner. Our staff can produce reproductions for a fee.

Reproductions are not permitted for commercial use. Commercial use includes activities such as publishing, website design, video production, broadcasting, self-replication, exhibitions, product presentations, interior design, advertising, or similar commercial applications. This also applies to profit-generating projects conducted by consultants or commercial design firms working for government agencies or non-profit organizations.
