This item was about the death of a famous physicist Dr. R K Asundi. He has passed away at an age of 86. He had a notable career in molecular spectroscopy and was a graduate of Wilson College in physics, obtaining his Ph.D. from King's College, London. After retiring as the Head of the department in Aligarh and BHU, he was invited by Dr. Bhabha to join BARC as an advisor.

The item was about M. K. V M. K. Vainu Bappu's critical condition at Munich after kidney failure and heart by-pass surgery at Munich's University Clinic. They had been fighting to save M. K. Vainu Bappu's life.

Some small children were also seen in the photo seated infront, who probably be Charles Albion, Isis, and Robert Owen.
