The album includes images related to the life of Indian astronomer M. K. Vainu Bappu, who served as president of the International Astronomical Union and founded the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. The corners of the photographs are inserted into the cuttings made of thick paper and attached. Photographs must be preserved in laminated sheets to avoid the fading due to direct contact and moisture
