This letter was sent from Bhaskaran to John Evershed regarding the official receipt for Rs.92-10-0, which was remitted to Hyderabad on 26th June 1923 and has yet to be received.

He also says the damage might have been caused during the carriage of the case up the hill from Periyakulam, asking whether he should claim it against the carrying company or if their Department will deal with it. He suggests instructing the Director General for stores to insist on all bright steel parts of delicate scientific instruments being heavily tallowed by the consignors as part of the packing specification.

This reply letter informs about sending of Richard's barograph and expenditure on stores and also asks for intimation of the receipt of the forms to the office
