The album contains photos of monasteries, camps, natives, and cultural programs of the natives at Leh. The photos were taken between 1993 and 1994.

The album contains photos of the visit to sites and dinner hosted by the former director R. Cowsik for Mr Girish Chandra Saxena, the seventh Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at Leh. In addition, photos of natives of Ladakh, a welcome meeting for the Governor, and photos of IIA delegates with the Governor are preserved in this album. The event occurred in October 1997.

The album contains photos of the observation camp for capturing the transit of Venus at IIA Bangalore campus in 2004. The transit of Venus in 2004 was a significant astronomical event in history because it was the first Venus transit after the invention of broadcast media. The photos of the transit of Venus, school students observing the event, setting up the observational ground, and presentations by astronomers of IIA can be seen in the album.

The album contains photos of eminent personalities related to IIA, namely S. Chandrasekhar, R. Cowsik, Godbole, T. P. Prabhu, Radhakrishnan, Ramani. M, S. Ramasheshan, B. V. Srikantan and Yash Pal. The photos were taken in the year 1994.

The album contains photos of the beautiful sceneries of the Himalayas in Hanle and Ladakh. Images of local streets, markets, buildings, and monasteries are preserved, along with pictures of the natives and performances of their local art forms. The album is enough to give a holistic idea about the life of Leh and Ladakhh during the 1990s.
