Srinivasa Ayyar, Deputy Tahsildar, Kodaikanal inviting officers in the observatory office to attend the "GENERAL PEACE CELEBRATIONS" a DARBAR for making known "THE TERMS OF PEACE TREATY" signed by Germany will be held by the Deputy Tahsildar at the JAMABUNDY HALL in the taluq Cutcherry compound at 10 A.M. on 19-7-1919.

He was asking the director to set up the necessary procedures to collect various deflections from the magnetograph in Kodaikanal, including visual and photographic deflections.

This letter was about the latitude and longitude of Perambur and the delimitation at St. George.
