Part of Correspondence related to different construction works at solar physics observatory during 1903-1923
This letter is from C.J. Ussher, Superintending Engineer, 6th circle, Trichinopoly, to the Director, Kodaikanal & Madras Observatories, in reply to the letter dated 30 Sep 1903(with enclosure of 1 estimate and 2 plans). The letter says the estimated amount for constructing a porch in front of the laboratory room and a glazed verandah by the side of the spectrograph room will be Rs.2,160, and it will be submitted to the Government for sanction.
