            This letter was about two questions that Otto Struve was asking, One is about Pleione and whether the strong lines of Ti II near ? 3759-3761 continued with their normal intensities, relative to the other Ti II lines. The second question is whether he would like to read the enclosed papers by Dr.S.Miyamoto of the Kyoto University.

            This letter was sent to the government astronomer from Major General C. Strahan, enclosing a copy from the Officiating Superintendent trigonometrical surveys asking about the redetermined places of certain circumpolar stars. Several of them have given very unsatisfactory results.

            This item was about the investigation conducted by Society, they have found a possible relationship between C V Raman and S Chandrasekhar. According to their findings, S Chandrasekhar, who recently won the Nobel Prize, was a nephew of Sir C V Raman. Understanding the ionosphere's response to X-rays, including gamma rays from catastrophic stellar events, may offer a distinctive detection method for monitoring space events, aiding astronomers in decoding cosmic phenomena efficiently.
