The album contains photos of the national meeting on the results of the total solar eclipse on 24 October 1995. The meeting was held in Bangalore from 26 to 27 February 1996, and the album includes photographs of the discussion and the presentation by delegates.

The album contains photos of Sir Arnold Wolfendale and his wife Audrey Darby during the visit to IIA Bangalore in 1993 for the event of the 1993 solar eclipse. The album includes photographs of the talk by eminent personalities from the field of astronomy in the library meeting hall and participants and of the observation site.

The album contains photos taken during the observation of the solar eclipse in 1996 at the Hanle site by the IIA team led by Director R. Cowsik. The observation was taken from an IAF (Indian Air Force) aircraft. The album includes photos of inside and outside views of aircraft and an aerial view of the land from the craft. In addition to that, photos of Air Marshal Bijoy Krishna Pandey with R. Cowsik and photos of other Air Force officers who helped the IIA team are archived in this album.
