              This item was about the sketch of the path of a total solar eclipse that occurred in India in 1868. It depicts the Peninsula of India and shows the track of the Moon's shadow during the eclipse on August 17, 1868. The sketch was created by V.T. & A.K. Johnston in Edinburgh and includes scalar measurements at the bottom.
