The album contains photos of the occasion of Prof. Ram Sagar's farewell day, held in the Bangalore campus in 1996, which includes photographs of the farewell meeting, team lunch, felicitation by delegates of IIA, gift distribution and presentation of the golden shawl as a symbol of honour by Director, R. Cowsik.

The album contains photos of the finance committee meeting of IIA in 1997 and the inauguration photos of the CREST campus at Hoskote in 1996. The foundation stone of the CREST campus was laid by Prof V. S. Ramamurthy, a well-known Indian nuclear scientist and R. Cowsik, former director of IIA.

The album contains photos of the meeting of FORSA (Forum for Resource Sharing in Astronomy and Astrophysics) meeting organized by the IIA library in 2003. The album includes pictures of representatives from a member institution, meetings, team lunches, and pictures of the library staff area and reading area.

The album contains photos of the foundation stone laying ceremony by former Director Prof. J. C. Bhattacharyya for the scanner telescope at Kavalur in August 1990. The album includes pictures of the scanner telescope model, 40-inch telescope, Kavalur Observatory, delegates who attended the function, and similar pictures.

The album contains photos of Founders Day in IIA Bangalore and Kavalur Observatory for 2004. Every year, on August 10th, M. K. Vainu. Bappu's Birthday is celebrated as Founders Day of IIA. This album has photos of the meeting held in IIA Bangalore library, garlanding and honouring tea and lunch, and programs at VBO Kavalur. Some are photos of the celebrations at Kodaikanal Observatory.

The album includes photographs captured during the installation of the H-alpha telescope at Kodaikanal Observatory in 2014 by an expert team from China. The H-Alpha telescope has a 20 cm doublet objective lens that produces a beam at f/7.9. The telescope creates a full-disk image of the sun using extra optics. The telescope can also be used to magnify a portion of the sun's disc. The album includes all stages of the installation process with the caption and instruments associated with the telescope. Photos of the IIA team with the team who came from China and cultural programme photos are also archived in this album. It was installed during the directorship of P. Sreekumar.

The album contains photos of the inauguration ceremony of the satellite communication link at the CREST (Centre for Research and Education in Science and Technology) campus, Hoskote. The former chairman of the Governing Council of IIA, Prof. B. V. Sreekantan, inaugurated the satellite communication link in 2001. album includes photographs of the inauguration, press meet, and participants who attended the function.

The album contains photos of the Independence Day celebration in IIA Bangalore campus during the directorship of R. Cowsik and Hasan Siraj. Images include flag hoisting by the directors, official meetings, and team breakfasts.

The album contains photos taken during the lunar eclipse observation on 16th July 2000. The photographs show different phases of the lunar eclipse, from the partial to full moon.

The album contains photos of the national meeting on the results of the total solar eclipse on 24 October 1995. The meeting was held in Bangalore from 26 to 27 February 1996, and the album includes photographs of the discussion and the presentation by delegates.
