The fond contain compilation of Photographs, Newspaper Clipping, Pamphlets, Correspondence to Chinthamani Ragoonatha Chary and Transit of Venus.

This is the reprinted edition of the “Transit of Venus” original pamphlet published in 1874 by C.Ragoonath Chary. IIA library has redesigned the cover page and added the foreword by Prof.S.S.Hasan, Director, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore and brought out the pamphlet before the world wide event of Transit of Venus on 6th June 2012 and published under IIA Archives Publication Series.

This item was the photostate copy of the original pamphlet of "Transit of Venus" by C.Ragoonatha Chary published in English languages in 1874.
