              This item was about the news coverage of the death of Mr.N.R. Pogson. The coverage briefly describe about the life of the Mr.Pogson. It mentions that Mr.Pogson was born on 23-03-1829. At the age of 16, he left his home to study astronomy. In 1851, he was appionted an Assistant in Mr.Bishop's Observatory. In 1859, he had become the Diretor of Dr.Lee's private Observatory. He was also a good Musician. He was one of the most faithful members of the Madras Philharmonic Society.
