This is a letter from H. L. Nicholson executive Engineer Madura to The Director of Kodaikanal Observatory on municipal water and drainage tax on Kodaikanal Observatory building. It states that Rs.120 per annum assessed on the observatory building is less than the assessed amount in the usual percentage on the capital cost of the buildings and it also addresses the issue of separating the part inside from the part outside the municipality.
