This item was about the death of the nobel astronaut S. Chandrasekhar.On August 21, 1985, the world mourned the loss of Nobel laureate and astronaut S. Chandrasekhar. He passed away at the age of 86 while preparing for a lecture, a testament to his lifelong dedication to his work. Chandrasekhar began his career by earning an honors degree in physics at Presidency College Madras before pursuing his doctorate at Cambridge University. In 1983, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his groundbreaking work in astrophysics, which he shared with William A. Fowler.
