              This item was about the PM's Statement given in the inugural session of 19th general assembly of the International Astronomical Union. He pointed out the fact that if India is to progress, scientific temper must be built into our culture. He also mentioned that since the days of J L Nehru, India had been committed to using science and technology for the development of human beings.
