Baldwin and Cradock 47 Paternoster publishes the maps under the Superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. It contains maps of the Islands of the Atlantic, The Antilles, British Island in the West Indies, the Empire of Japan and City plans of Dublin, Athen, Milan, Madrid, Liverpool, Moscow, Genoa etc.,

The map shows the city plan of Genoa, Italy, in 1836, with an inset of a "Sketch of the Outworks" at the bottom centre. It also has a comparison of 14 buildings in Genoa at the bottom. W.B. Clarke drew the map, and B.R. Davies engraved it.
