              The map shows the population of the Islands in the Atlantic in 1836. The islands shown are the Azores, Faroe Islands, Madeira, Canary Islands, Princes P, Fernando Po, Anno Bon, St.Thomas, Bermuda, Trinidade, Fernando Noronha, Falkland Islands, Cape De Verde, St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan Dacunha Island. It was engraved by J.&C. Walker.

              The map shows the city of Lisbon in 1833. W.B. Clarke Arch drew the map and J. Henshall engraved it. At the bottom of the map was an image of Lisbon from the Quinta da Torrinha Val de Periero. At the topmost right side is an embodiment of the environs of Lisbon. Baldwin & Cradock 47 Paternoster publishes the Maps under the Superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge.
