This letter was about the Sun negatives being sent through mail except for the day on 26th June, which was cloudy.

The letter was regarding the Sun charts prints that are not satisfactory as the negatives are imperfect. Therefore sending of original charts on cloth which are 26 inches in diameter are proposed by Evershed.

The letter was a confirmation of forwading a box containing 15 Sun charts which have been modified with the details of charts structure and required numbers of prints for each charts annually.

The letter was a reply to Evershed saying that there will be no difficulty in dealing with the 26 inch originals and requesting to provide necessary information.
