This item was about the high resolution line sketch spectra captured by John evershed during his experiment at Kodaikanal Observatory. While experimenting, he came across to capturing the high resolution spectra of Altair, Nova Aquila, Arcturus in the observatory. In this sketch, he pictured the resolution spectra that he observed as Umbra for high resolution and Penumbra for low resolution.
