              This letter was from the Assistant Director of Kodaikanal Observatory to Messrs, M.A. Seed, Dry Plate Company, regretting for receiving a consignment of "seed" plates. He wanted to rely on some branded company who would provide fresh plates.

These repairs included repair of leak in drawing room,spare bedroom and skylight in corridor,rearrangement of displaced tiles and replacement of broken ones, replacement of broken chimney pots and repairs and renewals of guttering.
