              This is a Letter from the director of the Kodaikanal and Madras observatories to the sub-division officer P.W.D Kodaikanal informing that even if the work of the electrical installation at the observatory is incomplete the work is satisfactory and there are no papers referring to the installations. It also informs that if a completion certificate is send he would sign it.

              The letter was written by E. C. J. Bond, who was the officer in charge No. 18 party (Magnetic), Survey of India, to the Director of the Madras and Kodaikanal Observatories, Kodaikanal through the Superintendent of the Trigonometrical Survey. This letter lists the dates that the observation result was missing, together with the declination traces, H.F. traces, and V.F. traces. It was written in 1920.
