The letter disusses on John Evershed's paper which was written 18 moths ago saying that he gone through the paper and a good deal about the factor 2 and the red-shift. A. S. Eddington said that he now more or less concerned that Einstein's theory is wrong on this point, and the true theoritical red-shift is twice his value as you find. Further he mentioned that the Thomas Royds confused him on the desirable value as the eclipse.
