This letter is about sending a copy of the record of the Seismic disturbances obtained from the seismograph in use at the Alipore Observatory for the half year from 1st January to 30th June 1903 together with photocopies.

Letter from E. C. J. Bond to the Director of Kodaikanal Observatory about recording the magnetic observations

The letter was written by E. C. J. Bond, who was the officer in charge No. 18 party (Magnetic), Survey of India, to the Director of the Madras and Kodaikanal Observatories, Kodaikanal through the Superintendent of the Trigonometrical Survey. This letter lists the dates that the observation result was missing, together with the declination traces, H.F. traces, and V.F. traces. It was written in 1920.

The document is a pay slip of Thomas Royds for the month of March in 1916, Issued by the Assistant Account General office, Madras. During that time he was working as Assistant Director of Kodaikanal Observatory.

The Office order is about granting leave to Thomas Royds for 15 days. The order was issued by E. D Maclagan, the Secretary of the Government of India, from Delhi in 1914. It is stated that copies of the order were sent to the directors of the Kodaikanal and Madras observatories as well as the director general of observatories.

The document was sent from the Director General of Observatories to Thomas Royds in 1913. The Director General of Observatories inquired about the order of the new screw for the Ponna micrometer in response to John Evershed's letter dated 18th August 1913.
