Letter from T. Royds to Gilbert T. Walker regarding engraving in tablet about Takhat Singh Ji mentioning some changes and saying Evershed proposed to change some wordings. Also, enclose a copy showing spacing and large capitals.

This is a letter from Assistant Director to T. Royds, executive engineer Madura Division regarding some repairs to the directors quarters. These repairs included repair of leak in drawing room,spare bedroom and skylight in corridor,rearrangement of displaced tiles and replacement of broken ones, replacement of broken chimney pots and repairs and renewals of guttering.

This letter is from the Assistant Superintendent to the Deputy Director informing us that the instruments in the Marine office are still serviceable, but from some tests made, several coils appear to be short circuited. For this one new instrument is required and the cost for that is also enclosed with this letter.
