Gorbon to different departments regarding the revision of the charge on account of upkeep of electrical installations, stating that with effect from 1st April 1912, the charge for repairs shall be assessed at the rate of 5 percent per annum on the capital cost of installations.

This is a Letter from the director of the Kodaikanal and Madras observatories to the sub-division officer P.W.D Kodaikanal informing that even if the work of the electrical installation at the observatory is incomplete the work is satisfactory and there are no papers referring to the installations.
