this is a letter from Gilbert T. Walker to the Director of Kodaikanal and Madras observatories regarding the purchase of clocks. In the letter it states that one additional transit clock is provided considering the lack of clocks in Madras Observatory. It also consist of various recommendations which should be added to the report of the Madras Observatory.
