The album contains photos taken during the observation of the solar eclipse in 1996 at the Hanle site by the IIA team led by Director R. Cowsik. The observation was taken from an IAF (Indian Air Force) aircraft. The album includes photos of inside and outside views of aircraft and an aerial view of the land from the craft. In addition to that, photos of Air Marshal Bijoy Krishna Pandey with R. Cowsik and photos of other Air Force officers who helped the IIA team are archived in this album.
