The album contains photos of the beautiful sceneries of the Himalayas in Hanle and Ladakh. Images of local streets, markets, buildings, and monasteries are preserved, along with pictures of the natives and performances of their local art forms. The album is enough to give a holistic idea about the life of Leh and Ladakhh during the 1990s.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains photos of the buildings and events at Kodaikanal Solar Observatory in Tamil Nadu, India. The observatory was established in 1899 as a Solar Physics Observatory, and all the activities of the Madras Observatory were shifted to Kodaikanal. Firstly a few photos of this album are of telescope domes and buildings, particularly North and South domes and 6-inch and 8-inch telescope buildings. After that, several photos of the pump house near the administrative building for the well and administrative section of the old radio astronomy building are arranged. Photos of the second national solar physics workshop on 29th September 1987 are followed by photographs of the rear side of the spectrobuilding and road from the specrto tunnel towards the library. Photos of the solar tower taken in 1980, huts near the I and M building, and front, back, and side views of H alpha and Ca K spectrohelio graphs are arranged in the middle of the album. In addition to that, photos of the solar tower tunnel, library building, and Bhavanagar dome can be seen in the album.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains photos of delegates on several exciting frontier areas of particle physics at energy scales not realizable in terrestrial accelerators and their significance in astrophysics and cosmology. The photos include famous astrophysicists around the world like Bradt Hale, Burgess Cliff, Cowsik Ramanath, etc, who discussed physics beyond the standard model, violations of discrete symmetries, neutrino physics, neutrino astronomy, experimental detection of dark matter, gravitation and feebler new forces, cosmic rays, etc. Some highlights are the latest results from the Kamiokande neutrino detector and status reports on experimental facilities under commission to detect solar and atmospheric neutrinos, WIMP's and dark matter candidates.

Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains an original notice and photographs of the Indo-Chinese workshop on recent advances in solar physics on 7-11 November 2005 at IIA Bangalore campus. Photos of talks by experts from India and China, group photos of the participants, team lunch and dinner, and photos taken on the outing are preserved in this album. Some photos of the Indian Japan seminar on astrophysics and astronomy in 1995 can also be seen in the album.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains photos of the presentations from Prof. D. Sugimoto of Tokyo University and other delegates and pictures of cultural programmes.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains photographs of the Bangalore and Kodaikanal campuses library of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Photographs of the reading area, serial display, stacks, and some of the presentations held in the library area are preserved in the album.
