This letter is forwarded to the Director of the Kodaikanal Observatory with a request to state whether the Szerelmey stone-petrifying liquid still gives good results as a protection against dampness. The forwarded copy contains three previous letters about the stone petrifying liquid between the Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer, and Chief Engineer.
