This letter was reply to the telegram from the Metrorological Reporter saying that the Evershed Spectroscope has been forwarded to the Director General of Stores India Office and the instrument should be returned back to Kodaikanal Observatory as soon as possible to work on the Sun especially for prominence work on Sun.
