The album contains photos captured during the meeting on UVIT-PDR (Ultra Violet Imaging Telescope on Astrosat) held at IIA Bangalore campus on 3 March 2006. IIA is collaborating with ISRO, Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) to develop an UltraViolet Imaging Telescope (UVIT), which is one of the payloads on satellite Astrosat.

The album contains photographs of delegates, talks, exhibitions, etc., related to the National Workshop on Preservation Our Scientific Heritage held on January 20-22, 2008, in IIA Bangalore. The program was for two days and focussed on preserving the history of scientific organizations in the country. Eminent personalities of institutes from different parts of India presented their papers, and more than 100 participants participated in the workshop.

The album contains an original notice and photographs of the Indo-Chinese workshop on recent advances in solar physics on 7-11 November 2005 at IIA Bangalore campus. Photos of talks by experts from India and China, group photos of the participants, team lunch and dinner, and photos taken on the outing are preserved in this album. Some photos of the Indian Japan seminar on astrophysics and astronomy in 1995 can also be seen in the album.

The album contains photographs of the Bangalore and Kodaikanal campuses library of the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Photographs of the reading area, serial display, stacks, and some of the presentations held in the library area are preserved in the album.
