Part of Correspondence regarding various constructions and alterations in the Kodaikanal Observatory building during 1900-1909
The letter is from M. R. Ry. A. V. Ramalinga Aiyar, Executive Engineer, Madura Division, to the Director, Kodaikanal Observatory, informing that transverse stiffeners may bend in the middle, and he suggests using horizontal ties and cross braces to stiffen the roof if it wouldn't be hindering instruments. He also said that he would get the transit shed repaired when he goes to Kodaikanal on 27 that month.
