This item was about the commissioning of aisa's largest telescope. The 230cm dimetre mirror of the gaint telescope had already been polished and despite having some import issues with a vital component, the project is on schedule and there were no hitches during the commissioning process.

This item was about the Kavalur telescope was installed at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics' field station. It was housed in a specially-erected tower with a revolving dome and was known as Asia's largest telescope. Currently, the institute is in need of a more powerful telescope to carry out comprehensive research on the sky.
