This was a handwritten record of observations made at the Madras Observatory by J. Goldingham (1796- 1805). It records the correspondent eclipses of the first and second satellites of Jupiter at the Madras Observatory and of Musalipatam, which were determined by timing immersions and the emersions of the first and second Satellites of Jupiter. The record consists of 163 pages and is not in good condition.

Madras M.S. Records was an important handwritten document maintained by M. Topping (1789-1796) and J. Goldingham (1796-1805), who were early astronomers of the Madras Observatory. The establishment of the Madras Observatory in 1786 was mentioned in this record.
