This fond encompasses a diverse array, including Indian Marine Surveys, Trigonometrical Surveys, the Inaugural Phase of Topographical Surveys, Route Surveys Beyond the Frontier of British India, the Revenue Survey of India, the Geological Survey of India, the Archaeological Survey of India, Astronomical Observations in India, and the Statistical Survey of India.

The map shows the four Ancient British provinces in 1834, namely Maxima Caesariensis, Flavia Caesariensis, Britannia Prima, and Britannia Secunda. J.&C. Walker engraved it.
