The OM reports the International Commission's proposal that mentions earthquakes all parts of the world should be made on a uniform plan

This letter was sent to the Director, Meteorological Office, South Kensington, London, asking for a circular letter for cooperation in magnetic observations with the Australian Antarctic Expedition. The director of KSO forwarded this letter to the Officer-in-Charge of the Magnetic Survey of India.

The fond contains observations notes on Madras meridian observations recorded during 1874-1904 from Madrsa Observatory. The observations concern minor planets, stars, equations for the stars i, j, and c, corrections to observed magnetic declination, the Moon and planets, R. Andromeda, Asia, minor planets, and apparent polar distance of stars.

The map shows the city plan of Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1835 with an inset plan of the Environs of Amsterdam. It was drawn by W. B. Clarke and engraved by B. R. Davies. At the bottom of the Map, a comparison of 14 principal buildings in Amsterdam was also given.
