            Part of Correspondance related to Magnetic Observatory during 1898-1923

            This letter from O. R. Scott, Sub division officer, Kodaikanal to the Director informing that a sum of Rs. 2000 has been alloted for the official year for repairing the observatory buildings at Kodaikanal and it is mentioned the estimates now on hand for execution amount to only Rs. 119 and those estimates are also mentioned for special repair to the roof of Directors' residence, chimney of the European assistants' quarters and to the Northern Dome of KSO and also requested to let him know whether any further repairs needed or not.
