The CD contains a video of a documentary on Vainu Bappu Observatory (VBO), Kavalur. The documentary speaks on how VBO evolved and the contribution of M. K. Vainu Bappu to establishing an observatory for night-time astronomy and some talks on telescopes by renowned persons from the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. The places of the observatory have also been seen in the documentary.

This CD contains 6 videos of lectures given by Prof. C.N.R. Rao on the Founder's Day of IIA, on 11th August 2008 at the IIA Bangalore campus.
