The album contains photos taken during the observation of the solar eclipse in 1996 at the Hanle site by the IIA team led by Director R. Cowsik. The observation was taken from an IAF (Indian Air Force) aircraft. The album includes photos of inside and outside views of aircraft and an aerial view of the land from the craft. In addition to that, photos of Air Marshal Bijoy Krishna Pandey with R. Cowsik and photos of other Air Force officers who helped the IIA team are archived in this album.

The album contains photos of the national meeting on the results of the total solar eclipse on 24 October 1995. The meeting was held in Bangalore from 26 to 27 February 1996, and the album includes photographs of the discussion and the presentation by delegates.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThe album contains photos taken during the lunar eclipse observation on 16th July 2000. The photographs show different phases of the lunar eclipse, from the partial to full moon.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThis fond contains collection of items that provide information about solar eclipses that occurred during the time period of 1868-2006. The collection includes photographs of total solar eclipses that took place on different dates, and covered from different places as well as sketches that help to illustrate the phenomenon and the path of the eclipses.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThese photographic slides contain some places where the solar eclipse was seen, the eclipse tower, the spectrograph, and a few photographs of J.C. Bhattacharya.
Bhattacharyya, Jagadish ChandraThese photographic slides contain astronomical events, some observations like the Evershed effect, the Spectrum by Evershed, Partial phase of moon eclipse, etc.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThese photographic slides contain photos of Solar eclipse, Solar corona and J.C Bhattacharya.
Bhattacharyya, Jagadish ChandraThese photographic slides contain photos of the Mexico Eclipse camp in 1970, the solar corona in 1980, and the Spectrograph well.
Indian Institute of AstrophysicsThis item was about the sketch of the path of a total solar eclipse that occurred in India in 1868. It depicts the Peninsula of India and shows the track of the Moon's shadow during the eclipse on August 17, 1868. The sketch was created by V.T. & A.K. Johnston in Edinburgh and includes scalar measurements at the bottom.
Johnston, A. K.The item contains three pieces of information preserved in a single laminated sheet. The first document is a handwritten address slip of sending some objects from Madras Observatory to the collector of north Arcot Chittoor. The second document is an observation note on the moon eclipse on 22 January 1888. The third one is also notes of observation taken in 1960, 1964, 1969, 1972, and 1975 but the other details need to be recognized.
