This fond contains collection of items that provide information about solar eclipses that occurred during the time period of 1868-2006. The collection includes photographs of total solar eclipses that took place on different dates, and covered from different places as well as sketches that help to illustrate the phenomenon and the path of the eclipses.

The album contains photos taken during the lunar eclipse observation on 16th July 2000. The photographs show different phases of the lunar eclipse, from the partial to full moon.

The album contains photos of the national meeting on the results of the total solar eclipse on 24 October 1995. The meeting was held in Bangalore from 26 to 27 February 1996, and the album includes photographs of the discussion and the presentation by delegates.
