This item was about the research for the nobel prize of the year 1983. The Nobel prize was awarded to Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and Flower for their work in astrophysics. S Chandrashekar's theoretical studies on the physical processes that are important for the structure and evolution of stars, and William A. Flower's theoretical and experimental studies on the nuclear reactions of matter in the formation of chemical elements in the universe, were both recognized. The prize was shared equally between the two of them.
