              This item was about the book review that was written by Bruce C Berndt and Robert A Rankin on the life of famous Indian mathematician Ramanujan. The title of the book was "Ramanujan, Letters and Commentary". It states that despite facing numerous struggles, Ramanujan performed exceptionally well and made groundbreaking contributions to mathematics, including the discovery of unique formulas in physics.

              The letter disusses on John Evershed's paper which was written 18 moths ago saying that he gone through the paper and a good deal about the factor 2 and the red-shift. A. S. Eddington said that he now more or less concerned that Einstein's theory is wrong on this point, and the true theoritical red-shift is twice his value as you find. Further he mentioned that the Thomas Royds confused him on the desirable value as the eclipse.
